Particle Fever follows six brilliant scientists during the launch of the Large Hadron Collider, marking the start-up of the biggest and most expensive experiment in the history of the planet.     The Chancellor’s Sheep & Wool Showcase

    Shearing, spinning, dyeing, knitting and weaving demonstrations, exhibition of various breeds of sheep and other wool bearing animals, wool artisans and shops, music and food. Rain date: April 27. Clermont 11am-4pm.

    ECLIPSE: choreography, light & visual design

    ​A multi-disciplinary performance, including a 36-point light installation, brings to life a perceived experience of an eclipse through movement and visuals. Basilica Hudson

    ​Met Opera Live in HD: Cosí Fan Tutte (Mozart)

    Music Director James Levine makes his long-awaited return to the Met podium to conduct Mozart’s beloved opera about testing the ties of love. TSL, Hudson 12:55pm

    Ramp Fest Hudson

    The first forageable green, spring delicacy wild onion of myth and mystery. Abundant in the Hudson Valley, the ramp will be at the center of original dishes created by chefs from upstate New York and the big city.

    Todd Park Mohr, of the rock group Big Head Todd & the Monsters, will perform a solo show at Helsinki Hudson. 8pm
