The first distillery in New York to be able to offer tastings and retail sale directly out of the distillery, Harvest Spirits has converted one of the massive cold storage rooms at Golden Harvest Farms into the region’s newest micro-distillery. Harvest Spirits makes alcohol from nature’s most perfect fruit: the apple, with apples grown on-site. Apples are grown, where they are pressed, fermented, distilled and bottled at the same location. Come see how this incredible tasting vodka is made. Also uses area pears for their Pear Brandy.

Hillrock Estate Distillery
Proud to be one of the few “field-to-glass” whiskey producers in the world, Hillrock is the first U.S. distillery since before Prohibition to floor malt and hand craft whiskey on site from estate-grown grain. Led by Owner Jeffrey Baker and renowned Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, Hillrock’s commitment to quality embodies the rich history of craft distilling in the Hudson Valley. The estate features a Georgian house overlooking the Distillery and 100 acres of farmland growing heirloom varieties of rye and barley. The Distillery complex is comprised of the Malthouse, Granary and Visitor Center as well as the Distillery which features a custom made 250 gallon copper pot still. Backed by over 20 years of friendship, the Yozzos and Moyers built a family business creating distinctive spirits with ingredients sourced from their farm and those of their neighbors. Housed in a 150 year old barn, you’ll have the chance to see how small batch spirits are made from start to finish, or relax on the patio overlooking the orchard and have a cocktail. The Hudson-Chatham Winery is Columbia County’s first winery. Since opening in 2007, its wines have won many awards, including gold medals from the NY State Fair, Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association, NY Food & Wine Classic, and the Dallas Morning News Wine Competition, among others. In the picturesque tasting room, you can also sample a wide range of locally produced gourmet products, including many Hudson Valley cheeses. This mom and pop production brewery specializes in ales of mixed fermentation lagers and other crispy little beers. Brewer owned and operated. The best way to find theme is to enter Suarez Family Brewery into Google Maps. All parking is at the rear of the brick brewery building. Tasting Room is open Wed 4-7pm and Fri and Sat 12-7pm.

Sundog Hard Cider is crafted from a unique blend of the freshest locally harvested apples from New York’s Hudson Valley in a 100% solar powered mill. They never use concentrate, just pure juice, bursting with apple flavor. They make the hard cider from a balanced blend of sweet and tart apples, fresh pressed and combined with champagne yeast to gently ferment. After the fermentation is complete the hard cider is then carefully bottled at the peak of flavor. Naturally gluten free.
