Seven generations of Livingston’s lived at Clermont, a riverside mansion with a rich and varied history. Now a museum, it holds a wealth of info on over two centuries of people, from wealthy land-owners to immigrant servants and enslaved African workers.
Visitors can experience house tours, gardens, views of the river, 5 miles of trails, visitors center, and special events.
Tours of the House and the Visitor Center are temporarily suspended during restoration. The grounds remain open and free landscape and Revolutionary War tours are available every weekend.
