Clermont State Historic Site

Seven generations of Livingston’s lived at Clermont, a riverside mansion with a rich and varied history. Now a museum, it holds a wealth of info on over two centuries of people, from wealthy land-owners to immigrant servants and enslaved African workers.

Visitors can experience house tours, gardens, views of the river, 5 miles of trails, visitors center, and special events.

 

TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS:
Tours of the House and the Visitor Center are temporarily suspended during restoration. The grounds remain open and free landscape and Revolutionary War tours are available every weekend.
