One of the oldest fairs in the country, featuring full midway, nightly grandstand entertainment including demolition derbies, national rodeo, and national country singing stars, volunteer firefighters parade, and daily animal shows. Six days starting Wednesday through Labor Day.
Fair buildings and grounds available for weddings, festivals, events, and celebrations. The Fairhouse, the grounds signature building, built in 1884 features an open floor plan, three-story lofty ceiling, wrap-around porch, wooden floor, and old-fashioned glass windows. Includes nearby caterer’s prep site and restrooms. Capacity is 300 guests. The Pavilion, is a great open air spot for a class reunion or family graduation party. Features include waist high counter, picnic tables, and cooler. Capacity is 150-200 guests. Columbia Hall, with a lovely porch features open beamed ceilings, two restrooms and a kitchenette. Capacity is 125-150 guests.
