Fern was founded in Brooklyn, NY by Jason Roskey and Maggie Goudsmit in 2009. Currently, the company is based in New York’s Hudson River Valley where we continue to build upon the region’s long furniture tradition. We design and make bench-crafted studio furniture. Our focus is a number of furniture designs with an emphasis on customization for our clients. With access to some of the country’s finest hardwoods and a growing creative community, Hudson has allowed us to realize our goal of designing and making contemporary, timeless furniture using sustainable practices.
