Artist Talk & Opening Reception: Painting the Imagination

Please join us as artist Mary Flinn talks about her works and walk among her paintings from “Painting the Imagination’.

Artist Statement: “My paintings evolve from applying different techniques to the surface until they begin to evoke imagery, usually natural organic imagery. The mark making process is very important to me as it can create specificity as well as rhythm and movement. I feel a close connection to the landscape and the flora and fauna within it.  I pull out the fantastic and magical qualities of the images that reveal themselves”.
