Learn the basics of flower arranging with local florist Nancy J. Lee, owner of Red Hook floral design shop Petals & Moss.
Come join in the fun and learn some basic skills for creating your own floral centerpiece. Instructor Nancy J Lee, local owner of Petals and Moss in Red Hook, has an aesthetic inspired by nature and will discuss the different mechanics, focusing on sustainability, design styles, to create a centerpiece. Each participant will be provided with a simple vessel, mechanics and tools to be used at the event to create their special piece.
Flowers will be based on availability and lead designer’s choice.
Beer not included. Must be 18 or older to attend.
