Ancram Opera House’s storytelling series, REAL PEOPLE REAL STORIES is a beloved community event held twice a year. This year, we are excited to return to The Hilltop Barn at Roe-Jan Park in Hillsdale for a presentation of authentic personal narratives told by storytellers residing in the tri-state region.
REAL PEOPLE REAL STORIES is an audience favorite and mainstay in AOH’s seasonal programming. The RPRS approach involves a series of storytelling workshops. In these workshops, local residents develop and shape their monologues with guidance from program director Paul Ricciardi. The results are an array of poignant, humorous, and captivating tales that celebrate community and personal connection.
