The Howard Hotel

Located in the heart of Hudson in the burgeoning Below 3rd Historic District on Hudson’s famed Warren Street. After an extensive renovation and restoration this historic property has transformed into a modern elegant seven room & suites boutique hotel and restaurant.

Built in 1790 this architectural gem was the first brick home built on Warren St, (originally ‘Main Street’), and constructed as the residence of Thomas Jenkins, one of the wealthiest early proprietors and founders of Hudson.  In 1848 the ‘Misses’ Peake established the Hudson Seminary for Young Ladies attracting the vicinities most affluent young ladies for more than thirty years.  Around 1878 the home once again became a family home and in 1894 became the hotel Graceland, and at the turn of the century became the Howard Hotel.
